Our brush is equipped with soft Dupont nylon bristles (0.152mm), which provide very effective brushing while caring for tooth enamel and gum tissue. 🙂
In fact, dentists and the UFSBD do not recommend the use of medium or hard brushes.
These create lesions on your gum tissues, which can cause short-term bleeding and long-term recession of the gums, which can lead to receding.
This is why we do not offer medium or hard bristles, and we never will! 🙏.
The brush heads are interchangeable between adult and kids' brushes, but we don't really recommend it because the kids' toothbrushes are designed specifically for children 100%.
The head is different, smaller, and really adapted for children, while the handle is lighter, smaller, and more manageable for small hands. 🤗
Moreover, the brushing modes of the Kids brush are designed for young children from the age of 3. The brushing should be gentler than that for adults, so the two modes of the Kids brush are even gentler than the "Sensitive" mode of the adult brush. 😉
This truly prevents exposing the gums and teeth of young children to brushing that might be a bit too powerful.

The adult travel case, designed for the adult-sized toothbrush, can accommodate the kids' toothbrush (since it is smaller).
However, it is not perfectly fitted, and the toothbrush may move slightly inside the travel case during transport.
