Does MyVariations Kids toothpaste contain fluoride?
Yes, it contains fluoride, at the optimal concentration of 1000 ppm to strengthen enamel and prevent the appearance of cavities, as recommended by the dental surgeons of the UFSBD (the French Union for Oral Health.) 😉
For several years there have been numerous debates and questions regarding fluoride, particularly in the United States where it is often added to tap water in high concentrations. However, in France and Europe, no fluoride is added to tap water, the dose of 1000 ppm of fluoride is therefore essential to protect your children's teeth properly against cavities! 💪
Is it suitable for very sensitive teeth and gums?
The RDA index of 39 (abrasiveness index) of our Kids toothpaste indicates that it has a relatively low abrasiveness index , making it safe to use so as not to damage the enamel of your children's milk teeth! 👌
Is it without preservatives?
Our children's toothpaste formula contains preservatives of natural origin and non-controversial , in order to preserve the integrity of the formula over time after opening. 😄

How long does a tube of MyVariations Kids toothpaste last?
Approximately 2 to 3 months for twice daily use. Please note that it is not necessary to apply a large quantity of toothpaste each time you use it, a small amount (a pea of toothpaste) is more than enough! 😋
We recommend teaching your children to use the right amount of toothpaste, without overdoing it, so that it lasts as long as possible.
From what age can it be used?
This toothpaste can be used from 6 months without any danger ! Its fluoride concentration is suitable for children from 6 months (apply a trace of toothpaste for children between 6 months and 2 years, and a pea of toothpaste between 3 years and 6 years). 👶
In addition, we carried out a cytotoxicity test which showed very positive results and allows us to recommend our Kids toothpaste from 6 months , compared to 3 years for most children's toothpastes. Cytotoxicity tests are indeed essential to ensure that children's toothpastes are safe , non-irritating and suitable for use from an early age. 😌
Is the tube recyclable?
Yes ! Most toothpastes on the market today have plastic tubes with a layer of aluminum inside, which unfortunately does not make them recyclable, even if they are produced with recycled plastic! The tube of our MyVariations toothpaste for children is however made of plastic without an aluminum barrier inside the tube, which makes it recyclable in the yellow bin (just please be careful to separate the tube from the cap) . ♻️
Some tips to follow for optimal results

First of all, your child should not wet their toothbrush, either before or after applying the toothpaste, as this will dissolve the toothpaste, reducing its adhesion to their teeth and therefore its effectiveness. 😢

Your child should put a small amount (the equivalent of a trace for children under 3 years old, and a pea size for children aged 3 to 6 years old) of toothpaste on their toothbrush. No need to empty the entire tube! 😜

Check that your child brushes his teeth for 2 minutes in the morning and evening (at a minimum and if possible, after each meal), cleaning all four parts of his mouth well.

The MyVariations Kids toothbrush's built-in timer makes this job easy with a short pause every 30 seconds, so you know when to change sides. ⏰

Make sure your child waits, if possible, 30 minutes after each meal, soda or fruit juice before brushing their teeth, so as not to damage their dental enamel. 🦷

Dentists recommend rinsing your mouth before brushing, and not rinsing after brushing in order to let the fluoride act on the teeth! 😄
