Does MyVariations' Kids Toothpaste contain fluoride?
Yes, it contains an optimal level of fluoride at 1000 ppm to strengthen enamel and prevent cavities, as recommended by the dental surgeons of the UFSBD (the French Union for Oral Health.) 😉
For years there have been debates and questions regarding fluoride, particularly in the United States where it is often added to tap water in high concentrations. However, in Europe fluoride is not added to tap water, making a dose of 1000 ppm of fluoride essential to properly protect your children's teeth against cavities! 💪
Is it suitable for very sensitive teeth and gums?
The RDA index of 39 (abrasiveness index) of our Kids Toothpaste means it has a low abrasiveness, making it safe to use with no damage to your child's enamel! 👌
How much toothpaste should I use?
Children should use a pea-sized amount and adults should aim for the size of a hazelnut.
From what age can the Kids Toothpaste be used?
This toothpaste can be used from 6 months without worry! Its fluoride level is suitable for children from 6 months (use a small smear of toothpaste for children between 6 months and 2 years, and a pea-sized amount for children between 3 and 6). 👶
We also performed a cytotoxicity test which showed very positive results that means you can use our Kids Toothpaste from 6 months, compared to 3 years of age for most children's toothpastes. Cytotoxicity tests are necessary to ensure that children's toothpastes are safe, non-irritating, and suitable for use from an early age. 😌
Is your toothpaste tube recyclable?
Yes! Most toothpastes on the market today are plastic tubes with a layer of aluminum inside, which unfortunately makes them not recyclable, even if they were produced with recycled plastic!
Our MyVariations Kids Toothpaste tube is made of plastic, though, without an aluminum lining, making it recyclable (just remember to separate the cap). ♻️

First teach your child to never wet their toothbrush - not before nor after they apply toothpaste, as this starts to dissolve the paste and reduce how well it sticks to teeth and, therefore, its effectiveness. 😢

Your child should use a small amount (a small dab for children under 3 and a pea-sized amount for children aged 3 to 6) of toothpaste on their toothbrush. No need to empty the entire tube! 😜

Be sure your child brushes their teeth for 2 minutes each morning and evening (at a minimum and, if possible, after every meal), covering all four corners of their mouth well.

The built-in timer in our MyVariations' Kids Toothbrush makes this part easy with a small pause every 30 seconds so they know when to change sides. ⏰

Try to make sure your child waits 30 minutes after every meal, soda, or juice before they brush, so they don't damage their enamel. 🦷
