For years there have been debates and questions regarding fluoride, particularly in the United States where it is often added to tap water in high concentrations. However, in Europe, fluoride is not added to tap water, making a dose of 1450 ppm essential to properly protect against cavities! 😉
Although the RDA of 119 (abrasiveness index) of our Active Whitening Toothpaste is still within the limits set by the UFSBD and dentist-supervised tests do not demonstrate any negative effect on oral sensitivity, if you suffer from strong dental/gingival sensitivities or hypoplasia/weak enamel, as a precaution: we recommend that you consult your dentist before using our whitening toothpaste, or opt for our sensitive toothpaste, specially designed for sensitive teeth and gums! ☝️
Children should use a pea-sized amount and adults should aim for the size of a hazelnut. 😄
This toothpaste can be used starting at 6 years old because of its fluoride concentration (1450 ppm) which is not suitable for children below this age. From 6 months, we recommend using our toothpaste specially designed for children: a red fruit flavour with 1000 ppm fluoride, perfect for the little ones! 😋
Yes! We chose to limit our plastic use as much as possible when making our Active Whitening and Sensitive toothpastes which is why our tubes are made of aluminum for both. Aluminum has the advantage of being a 100% infinitely recyclable material, only the cap is plastic and should be separated from the tube before recycling. ♻️
Although our Active Whitening Toothpaste contains hydroxyapatite, which certainly helps to strengthen enamel thanks to its remineralising action, it is still strongly recommended to use a toothpaste containing fluoride at the right dose (1450 ppm from 6 years old), because fluoride is the only element that effectively protects against development of cavities. 😉

Tips to follow for best results
First thing's first, never wet your toothbrush - not before nor after you apply toothpaste, as this starts to dissolve the toothpaste and reduce how well it sticks to your teeth and, therefore, its effectiveness. 😢
Brush your teeth for 2 minutes in the morning and the evening (twice a day minimum and, if possible, after every meal), covering all four corners of your mouth well. 👄
The built-in timer of our MyVariations sonic toothbrush makes your job easier with a small reminder every 30 seconds which tells you when to change sides. ⏰
Wait 30 minutes after meals or drinking coffee, tea, soda, or fruit juice before you brush, so as to not damage your enamel. 🦷
Dentists recommend rinsing your mouth before brushing and not after so that the fluoride can act on your teeth! Don't forget to floss or use interdental brushes before each brush, or at least once a day! 😄
